Personal Care
Personal care assistants give assistance to people who are sick, injured, mentally or physically disabled, or the elderly and fragile. PCA work in the home and help their clients with daily activities, such as:
- bathing and toileting
- meal prep
- grooming and hygiene
- assist with medication administer
- appointment reminders an scheduling
- provide or arrange transportation for appointments
Respite Care
Respite care can be extended care for family member needed for weekends or overnight care. PCA assist with daily activities, such as:
- Assisting with doctor's appointment
- Picking up prescriptions or grocery shopping
- meal preparation
- Light housekeeping duties, such as vacuuming, tidying up and washing linens and clothes
Companion Care
Caregiver will not provide hands-on care for the client (such as feeding and dressing) but will provide companionship. These services include services such as:
- offer encouragement
- perform light housekeeping tasks
- Keeping client safe
Private Duty Nursing (Skills care)
PDN services assist individuals with medical needs in the comfort of their home. These services are provided by a licensed RN or LPN who will be under direct supervision in following the care plan for each individual client. Services include:
- administer medication
- G-tube feeding
- administer oxygen
- trach / vent care
- wound care
- ADL’s
